Writing my first post from my new computer. The difference in performance is amazing (which it ought to be, given the 10-fold increase in raw processing power) and this will hopefully translate into a commensurate increase in productivity. Though, of course, first I have to check out the gameplaying capabilities...

I'm putting up some new pictures on our .Mac website of this weekend's Tulip festival. There was a photographer from the Seattle Times who took a picture of Eva, though apparently it has not made the paper. Beth had a fantastic time with the kids, who ran themselves silly through the multicolored fields.

Yesterday I also made a raised garden bed to start gardening with the kids. They both started sunflower seedlings indoors, which we'll transplant when they have sprouted. It should be fun to see what actually grows, but we'll plant sunflowers, cherry tomatoes, carrots, beets, peppers, basil, cilantro and squash. Thank goodness for Euclid! I managed to calculate the exact amount of planting mix to buy, and fortunately it was a whole number of bags!
